What should I expect during my first consultation?
Your first visit includes a comprehensive, one-on-one consultation with one of our specialists. We’ll discuss your health/wellness (including mental health) and aesthetic and wellness (delete) goals, review your past medical history*, answer your questions, and develop a personalized treatment plan designed just for you.
*Please email any lab results completed within the past year to [email protected] at least 48 hours before your consultation.
Where is Nervana Medical located?
We are located in Sandy, Utah, and proudly serve patients throughout the Salt Lake Valley and surrounding communities. We are also licensed to provide telehealth services in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, California and Nevada. We only offer services that contain controlled substances (testosterone and ketamine) at our clinic in Sandy. We offer virtual appointments as well as in-clinic appointments ,but if you are close, we highly recommend coming into the clinic so that we can provide you with written education about the services that are recommended.
Do you accept insurance?
We now accept Cigna, but most of our services are not covered by insurance. We are in the process of accepting Medicare, Aetna, BCBS Utah, and UHC. We also accept HSA/FSA for some services.
Do you offer financing options?
Yes, we believe that everyone deserves to feel confident. We offer several flexible financing options to make our treatments more accessible. Please contact our office directly to learn more about our payment plans HERE.
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
Nervana Medical provides a wide range of services, including weight loss programs (GLP-1/GIP therapy and more), IV nutrient therapy, hormone optimization, aesthetics, regenerative medicine, mental wellness therapies (such as ketamine), and even medical cannabis evaluations.

During your visit, our experienced providers will discuss your health goals, lifestyle, and concerns to recommend the most effective treatments for you—whether that’s weight loss programs, hormone optimization, IV therapy, aesthetics, or mental health support.

How do I prepare for my first visit?
It is particularly helpful if you fill out your patient intake forms in a comprehensive manner at least 48 hrs before your appointment- but you are also able to fill them out in the clinic if you need assistance with this, please just arrive 15 minutes before your appointment. If you want any lab work reviewed during your first consultation, we ask that you email it to [email protected] or fax it to (385) 274-0733 at least 48 hrs prior to your appointment. If any additional services are scheduled, you should receive instructions from your provider on how to prepare for your appointment, what to expect, and post-care instructions, if applicable.
