DiamondGlow® is a dermabrasion facial that exfoliates, extracts, and infuses the skin with a condition-specific serum in a single treatment. At Nervana Medical, our licensed aestheticians pair DiamondGlow with SkinMedica® Pro-Infusion Serums, tailored to your skin’s specific concerns, whether that’s dullness, uneven tone, dehydration, or early signs of aging.

DiamondGlow uses what’s called 3X1™ technology, three steps in a single pass of the handpiece:

• Exfoliates: diamond-tipped applicators provide controlled physical exfoliation of the outer layer of skin
• Extracts: vacuum suction draws out dirt, oil, and debris from the pores
• Infuses: a SkinMedica® Pro-Infusion Serum, chosen for your skin’s specific concern, is delivered while pores are open

We select the serum based on what your skin actually needs:

TNS® Advanced+ for fine lines, sagging, and overall tone and texture.

Even & Correct for uneven tone and hyperpigmentation.

Vitamin C for dullness and photodamage.

Pore Purifying for congested, reactive skin.

HA5® Hydra Collagen for dry, dehydrated skin.

• A scratchy or stinging sensation is common as the diamond tip passes over the skin. This settles quickly once the post-treatment protocol begins
• The full treatment takes about 30–60 minutes depending on the option you choose

• Temporary tightness, mild redness, or slight swelling that typically resolves within a few hours
• Small blood vessels (telangiectasia) may be more visible right after treatment while the skin is thin. This fades as the skin recovers
• Most patients see visibly brighter, smoother skin the same day

• Retinoids or other exfoliating products for 1–3 days after treatment
• Unprotected sun exposure: daily sunscreen is essential after any DiamondGlow treatment

• Discontinue retinoids and other exfoliating products for 3 days before your appointment
• Let your provider know if you’ve been on acne medication in the past 6 months, or if you’re prone to cold sores
• Remove contact lenses before your treatment, if applicable

• Apply sunscreen daily; skipping it increases the risk of sunburn and hyperpigmentation
• Avoid retinoids and exfoliants for 1–3 days after treatment
• Mild redness, tightness, or swelling should resolve within a few hours; contact us if anything feels outside what was discussed at your visit

DiamondGlow is not appropriate for compromised or actively irritated skin (sunburned, chapped, open wounds, active weeping acne, or a cold sore outbreak). Tell your provider if you’re pregnant, lactating, or have any relevant medical conditions or allergies before treatment.
