8-Point Lift in Sandy, UT

Faces don’t age in isolation. As collagen production slows and the deep fat compartments of your face begin to shift, the changes show up everywhere at once. Flatter cheeks. A softer jawline. Deeper smile lines. Hollows under the eyes. A chin that no longer projects the way it used to. When you treat any one of these areas on its own, the imbalance often becomes more obvious, not less.

This is why the 8-point lift at Nervana Medical takes a different approach. Instead of focusing on a single line or wrinkle, we look at your whole face. Strategic dermal filler placement at eight key anatomical zones restores the structure you’ve lost over time, so your features come back into balance. The goal is for you to look like yourself, refreshed. Not treated.

Before and after full facial balancing with dermal filler at Nervana Medical in Sandy, UT

What Is Full Facial Balancing?

Full facial balancing is a non-surgical technique that uses hyaluronic acid dermal fillers to rebuild the structural support your face has lost over time. The 8-point lift is one of the most well-known versions of it. Rather than spot-treating one area, we map the whole face and place filler at eight strategic zones in a single coordinated treatment. The midface lifts. The jawline gets sharper. Smile lines soften. Chin and temple projection returns. Each of the eight points supports the next, the way a building distributes its weight across its frame.

  • Mid-cheek apex, for cheekbone projection
  • Submalar cheek, the hollow beneath the cheekbone
  • Tear trough or lower orbit, to soften under-eye shadowing
  • Nasolabial fold, supporting the smile lines from underneath
  • Marionette area, lifting the corners of the mouth
  • Pre-jowl sulcus, to smooth the dip in front of the jowl
  • Jawline and mandibular angle, for sharper definition
  • Chin, to restore projection and balance to the lower face

No two faces are the same, and not every face needs all eight points. Some clients benefit from the full set. Others do better with a focused selection of four or five. During your consultation, your provider will assess where you’ve lost the most volume and projection, then build a plan from there.

Why Full Facial Balancing Works

A surgical facelift removes excess skin. Full facial balancing does something different. Instead of cutting away tissue, we rebuild the deep structural support your face has lost. We’re addressing the cause of facial aging rather than masking the symptoms. The benefits compound when you treat the face as a whole:

  • Natural-looking results that subtly enhance your features without looking overdone
  • Minimal downtime, with most clients returning to normal activities the same day
  • A treatment plan customized to your specific facial anatomy and goals
  • Hyaluronic acid fillers that provide immediate volume and support natural collagen production over time
  • Results that are fully reversible, since hyaluronic acid can be dissolved or adjusted if needed
  • Long-lasting effects, typically 12 to 18 months depending on the products used and your metabolism

Who Is a Good Candidate?

Full facial balancing tends to be a good fit if you’ve noticed a general flattening or tired look across your face. Maybe your cheekbones don’t have the definition they used to. Your smile lines or marionette lines are deeper. Your jawline is softening. Your chin feels recessed against the rest of your features. Most of our clients are in their late 30s through 60s and want meaningful rejuvenation without surgery, anesthesia, or significant downtime.

During your consultation at Nervana Medical, we’ll review your facial anatomy, talk through your goals, and confirm whether full facial balancing is the right starting point. If a different combination of treatments would serve you better, we’ll tell you. We don’t sell treatments you don’t need.

What to Expect During Treatment

Your full facial balancing treatment takes place in our Sandy, UT office. Plan on 60 to 90 minutes. We use a combination of fine needles and cannulas to place filler precisely beneath the skin at each treatment point. Topical numbing is applied beforehand to keep you comfortable throughout, and a dental block is available for the lower face if you’d prefer additional anesthesia.

Most clients find the experience easier than they expected. It’s closer to a long facial than a procedure. You’ll see visible lift and contour the moment you sit up, and your provider will review the symmetry with you before you leave.

Recovery and Long-Lasting Results

One of the biggest advantages of full facial balancing is the short recovery. Most clients return to normal activities the same day. You may have some mild swelling, redness, or the occasional small bruise, but these usually resolve within a few days. Final results settle in over two to four weeks as the filler integrates with your tissue.

Depending on the products we use and how your body metabolizes them, results from a full 8-point treatment typically last 12 to 18 months. The cheeks and jawline often hold longer than the lips or smile lines. Many clients come back for small annual touch-ups to maintain their balance rather than starting over from a baseline of further volume loss. Because we’re rebuilding structural support rather than masking symptoms, the changes look natural in motion. Friends will notice you look refreshed. They shouldn’t be able to tell why.
