Nervana Medical was founded in 2022 by Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Cassandra (Cassie) Debenham. Cassie has over 15 years of experience in health care, primarily in intensive care medicine. She left in 2021, mentally and physically burned out after nearly 2 years of working in the COVID ICU.

Nervana Medical was founded in 2022 by Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Cassandra (Cassie) Debenham. Cassie has over 15 years of experience in health care, primarily in intensive care medicine. She left in 2021, mentally and physically burned out after nearly 2 years of working in the COVID ICU.
Her heart has always been in medicine and her primary focus has and always will be, to do what’s right and best for the patient. She believes that what is best for the patient, requires a depth of understanding of each patient and their own specific health goals, concerns, limitations/strengths and weaknesses.
After working in the outpatient world the last few years, she began to find a bigger meaning and purpose for Nervana; a more meaningful healthcare experience for not only the patient but for the provider as well. No provider wants to be rushed in and out of rooms with back to back schedules and limited time to spend with the client to fully appreciate and understand them individually. Nervana strives to give this back to both the patients and the providers and we can only hope to be apart a transformation for the better in healthcare as a whole.
OUR MISSION
Traditional medicine and complementary/holistic therapies have seemed to stay their own entities with little success of integrating the two. We believe that a persons’ health and wellness is most successful with a combination of approaches and that a multi-modality, multi-disciplinary, individualized approach is what serves patients the best overall result.
We strive to incorporate our clients into the development of their plan for highest compliance and overall longevity of success while maintaining expectations and overall patient accountability.
We take the time to thoroughly explain and educate our clients and provide them with the necessary information for them to make their own informed decisions pertaining to their health; because at the end of the day, it’s their life and their decisions; and it is an honor to be given the opportunity to be apart of it and help them live their “best life”.

Cory is a trauma specialist and psychedelic assisted psychotherapist. Cory brings a depth of experience in working with clients who have significant trauma and/or addiction concerns. She is trained in multiple modalities including EMDR, Brain Spotting, CPT, and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy). Cory integrates these specialties into ketamine therapy to help clients identify underlying problems.
Cory helps individuals, couples, families, who have been affected by substance abuse and/or mental illness by processing emotions and traumas that interfere with their ability to obtain a productive life and well-being. Cory’s past experience and education have prepared her to help people with severe and chronic mental health disorders.
Cory has been trained in Ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP). She was also trained through the Ketamine Training Center by Phil Wolfson who is the leading researcher on Ketamine and Ketamine assisted therapy.

With a professional background in biotechnology and a deep personal commitment to inner work, he offers a grounded, supportive space for clients to integrate their experiences and maximize the benefits of their treatments. Sarah is a clinical research coordinator and integration coach specializing in psychopharmacology and neuropsychology. With a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience in psychedelic-assisted therapies, she is dedicated to supporting individuals through their ketamine treatment journeys. Sarah holds a Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Her research focused on the intersection of mood and pain tolerance in psychopharmacological treatments. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Utah, where she explored the therapeutic potential of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for older adults with early cognitive decline. In addition, she has received specialized training in psychedelic therapy through the Salt City Psychedelic Therapy and Research (SCPTR) program. Sarah has led clinical research on emerging psychedelic treatments, including the first-ever Phase 1 study.

Dr. Jude is a Clinical Chaplain, Psychedelic Therapist, and Multidimensional Integration Specialist with extensive experience supporting individuals through profound life transitions, spiritual awakenings, and non-ordinary states of consciousness. Jude completed her clinical spiritual care residency during the COVID-19 pandemic at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Vallejo, California. She has since served in pediatric care at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, as well as in hospice, behavioral health, and end-of-life settings. Her chaplaincy training is grounded in neuro-psychoanalytic and trauma-informed psychotherapy rather than any single religious tradition, allowing her to meet clients wherever they are—spiritually, psychologically, and culturally. She holds advanced training and certification in psychedelic-assisted therapy through CIIS, MAPS (MDMA-Assisted Therapy), Polaris, and Polaris/Rainfall, with a particular focus on multidimensional integration. Jude works with clients who are integrating psychedelic experiences, navigating spiritual or existential transformation, processing grief and loss, or seeking deeper meaning and coherence following life-altering experiences. In addition to integration work, Jude offers select one-on-one psychedelic therapy appointments and spiritual care sessions. Her approach is compassionate, ethically grounded, and attuned to both the nervous system and the soul—supporting clients in translating profound experiences into embodied insight, resilience, and lasting change.

Breanne earned a BS in Biology and Sociology from Westminster College and went on to receive a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Sports Dietetics from the University of Utah. She is licensed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Breanne works hard to teach the science of food and how our bodies use nutrients as fuel to achieve optimal performance.

At age 15 I was the first girl to be signed onto the KTM Orange Brigade team, shortly after that I raced Monster cup in the supermini Allstate making my debut for the KTM team.
