What are exosomes?

Exosomes are small, nanometer-sized vesicles that play a critical role in cellular communication and the regulation of biological processes within the human body. Despite their small size, exosomes have the ability to carry a variety of important biomolecules, including proteins, lipids, and genetic material, making them a powerful tool for cell-to-cell communication and regulation.

Due to the way in which exosomes are formed, they are very representative of the cells that they are released from. Exosomes secreted from stem cells demonstrate potent regenerative / repair properties when applied to damaged or wounded tissue. It is this reparative function of stem cell exosomes that we exploit in AnteAGE MDX.

What role do exosomes play in aesthetics?

Exosomes play a critical role in the maintenance of tissue homeostasis by regulating cell proliferation and differentiation. By transmitting growth factors, cytokines, and other biologically important molecules, exosomes help to coordinate the activities of cells and maintain normal tissue function. In aesthetics, cell turnover, repair and rejuvenation are critical in anti-aging treatments.

Is AnteAGE MDX® Exosome Solution safe?

We control 100% of the cell culturing and manufacturing in-house. The entire process takes place in our GMP Certified, Irvine, California laboratory. Our attention to each and every detail in the manufacturing process allows us to confidently deliver an extremely potent, effective, and most importantly, safe treatment solution.

Are there live stem cells present in the Exosome solution?

No. Just like our other Growth Factor Treatment Solutions, stem cells are cultured in the laboratory to extract the cytokines and growth factors required to improve treatment outcomes. Then, the growth factors and cytokines are put through a filtering process which allows us to extract only the exosomes from the media.

Is AnteAGE MDX® Exosome Solution FDA approved?

The FDA does not regulate cosmetic treatments for topical use. As a result, there are currently no aesthetic exosome treatment solutions approved by the FDA in the market today.

Pre- Care instructions:

PREP SKIN WITH 1-2 PUMPS OF A SERUM & ACCELERATOR TWICE DAILY FOR 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO TREATMENT FOR BEST RESULTS

1. Avoid Sun Exposure:

• Minimize sun exposure at least 2 weeks before treatment.

2. Avoid Certain Medications:

• Avoid topical products that cause photosensitivity for 7 days prior to treatment.

• Refrain from other treatments such as BOTOX® injections, dermal filler injections, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion for at least 14 days prior to your appointment.

3. Consult Your Technician:

• If you have a history of herpes or cold sores, consult with your technician about antiviral therapy before treatment, especially if you are receiving laser around the lips or chin area.

Post-Care Instructions:

1. Apply remainder of solution:

• Apply any remaining solution throughout the day as needed for Hydration.

• Do not apply anything else to the skin, including SPF for 24 hours.

• After 24 Hours client can begin using 1-2 pumps of a serum skin rejenerator/accelarator twice daily followed by SPF

2. Avoid Sun Exposure:

• Keep the treated area covered and avoid sun exposure to reduce the risk of dark or light spots for 2 weeks after treatment. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) daily. 

3. Avoid Excessive Heat:

• For 24-48 hours post-treatment, avoid activities that generate heat, such as heavy workouts, saunas, or hot tubs, which can increase skin irritation.

4. Avoid Certain Medications:

• Avoid topical products that cause photosensitivity for 5 days post treatment.

• Refrain from other treatments such as BOTOX® injections, dermal filler injections, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion for at least 21 days post treatment.

5. Follow Treatment Plan:

• Attend all scheduled follow-up and maintenance treatments as recommended by your provider to achieve the best results.

   

Adhering to these pre- and post-care instructions can significantly enhance the effectiveness of your treatment.
